"Nothing could be more rewarding than teaching Baylor's honors students. They are serious and engaged, and they use their time here to develop virtues of character while preparing for meaningful careers in public service, private enterprise, ministry, and the academy. Many of these students I will forever regard as friends."

"The Honors Program, and especially the University Scholars program, provided me with the strongest academic foundation I could have ever asked for. From the rigorous research skills we were taught in the classroom to the sincere love of truth and neighbors modeled by professors and advisors both in and outside of the classroom, the environment fostered by Baylor's Honors Program is unique. The academic excellence is matched only by the care poured into the personal and spiritual lives of all students.
I am currently finishing my Master's degree in Classics at Brasenose College, Oxford (Master of Studies in Greek and Latin Languages and Literature). Next year I will begin the DPhil in Classics at Jesus College, Oxford."

"I am leaving Baylor with a deeper love of learning because of my time in the Honors Program. The course work encouraged me to ruminate on ideas that I will carry with me throughout my career in Washington, D.C. and beyond. I am extremely grateful for the rigorous education I received from the Honors Program, because I feel prepared to think, write, and communicate well in my future endeavors."
