Biography
Mary joined the Honors Program staff in January of 2020. She is a Baylor graduate and former BICer with a love for Old English, walking in Cameron Park, and reading Tolkien on her porch swing. Her Master's thesis was on Beowulf focusing on the themes of isolation and community. She advises juniors and seniors, oversees a part of the thesis portion of the program, and is also involved in coordinating HON 3200 Colloquium. The most rewarding part of her job is working with students and encouraging them to grow academically and as persons.
